Tiw’s Day and/or Mars Day

Mars-day, the day of the Warrior, therefore, the day of Battles. There’s a direct, explosive, aggressive energetic charge to the air. Everyone’s ready to advocate, to fight, to stand their ground, to move forward, uninhibited and unhindered. Tuesday is the day of initiative, as signified by the English and Latin roots of the word.
“The English word Tuesday stems from Old English, Tiwesdæg, and Middle English, Tewesday, meaning “Tīw’s Day”, the day of Tiw or Týr, the god of single combat, victory and heroic glory in Norse mythology. Tiw was equated with Mars in the interpretatio germanica, and the name of the day is a translation of Latin, ‘dies Martis’.” All other languages stemming from Latin (the Romance Languages, such as Spanish, French, and Italian) principally use Mars as the root word to represent Tuesday (Martes, Martedì, Mardi).
Be prepared for set-backs, temper tantrums, road rage, and unexplained aggression, as every person and situation you encounter will likely be wrought with Martian energy. Those with a Martian charge (Aries and Scorpio) will feel it with great intensity (intensity is characteristic of Mars, after all). For others, it may be milder. You may notice an eagerness to do, to act, to accomplish. This is a great time to do what you might normally put off, or to start something new, as this is a cardinal energy, which is all about initiating action. It will be a distraction from the more brutish displays of Mars-day, anyway.
